Sulphur particles possess obvious advantages such as stable property, excellent flowability, no dust as well as no pollution, so sulphur granulation becomes one method for processing liquid sulphur. The following PDF gives introductions to several methods of sulphur granulation process that are commonly used in foreign countries, and analyzes their features.

This granulation process uses rotary steel belt granulator to produce particle shaped high concentration compound fertilizer including urea ammonium phosphate (NP) and urea ammonium potassium phosphate (NPK), and please see figure 1 for the production flow.

After three years of research, we have developed drum sulphur granulation process and manufactured RDG drum sulphur granulator. Our machine successfully finished the pilot running at Lianyungang Yashi Sulphur Company in May, 2009. This technique and equipment fill the blank of this field in China, and we have got the national patent.

Magnesium chloride hexahydrate is a kind of single crystal without color, and its relative density is about 1.569 while the melting point range is 116-118°C. It is soluble in water and ethanol, and it can absorb water in the air easily. When it is heated, crystal water and hydrogen chloride are removed, and magnesium oxide is produced.
